Automotive Service Councils, Foothill Chapter 5
"Shop Owners Helping
Shop Owners"
Who We Are
Founded in 1940 as IGO (Independent Garage Owners), the Automotive Service Councils of California is a confederation of regional automotive trade associations (called chapters), consisting of independently-owned repair shops, as well as associated aftermarket businesses such as parts stores, insurance brokers, and automotive publications.
When you see the ASCCA logo, you know that you can count on quality auto repair.
It's "The sign you can trust!"
The Foothill Chapter covers the San Gabriel & San Fernando Valleys and various communities in the City of LA.
The Independent Garage owners who are members of the Automotive Service Councils in the Foothill Chapter 5 area all adhere to a strict Code of Ethics. In addition, the Foothill Chapter assists in the education of its members by bringing seminars on all aspects of the business operations, as well as the technical and mechanical end of automotive repair into our area exclusively for our chapter members.
The Automotive Service Councils of California is a strong advocate of the professionalization of the automotive repair industry. We work closely with our State Senators and Assemblypersons in initiating new laws toward this lofty goal. We also work with the Bureau of Automotive Repair, the State of California's governing agency in charge of automotive repair facilities, for the benefit of the driving public.
